I have been dedicated to giving back to the community throughout my life. Over the years I have created two organizations to help me achieve this goal.

In 1983, I founded and ran a nonprofit organization called the Mothers Connection, a grassroots volunteer organization for mothers by mothers. By the time I stopped running it in 1986 we had over a 100 member families. We offered support and education groups, for moms and instructed child care workers in developmental child care strategies. This organization still exists today and has served thousands of families over the years. It is based on the idea that mothers are wise and provide the best information and support for other mothers.

In 1990-1995 a colleague and I founded and ran Creative Potentials, a nonprofit therapy and counseling center. We provided sliding scale counseling and training for therapists for five years. I trained and supervised interns as well as ran my own private practice.

Both organizations were ways of giving back to the community. They represent my commitment to provide counseling to people without financial sources to pay. That is why I still keep sliding scale slots open.

For three years I ran a self-help book discussion group for Barnes and Noble to help educate the public about ways to get information from all the good books out there. I provided a bridge from the information in the book to the utilization of that knowledge.

I have had the pleasure to run workshops and seminars for groups such as The Mental Health Association, The Deaf Services Center, The Post Office, Hadassah, local churches and Palm Beach County Employee Assistance.

For many years I've studied and taught Kabbalah and Kabbalah Medicine with well-known and respected teachers, healers and authors including Z'ev Ben Shimon Halevi, Dr. Gerald Epstein, and Rabbi Victoria Esther Ben-Toviya.

My credentials include a Master's Degree in Counseling from Nova University and I am licensed since 1990 by the State of Florida as a Mental Health Counselor.

I've continued my post-graduate training with a certification from the American Institute for Mental Imagery. I have a private practice in North Palm Beach where I work with individuals, groups, and couples.

Proudly, I am the mother of three adult children and the grandmother of three. I've been married to my high-school sweetheart for over 37 years and we live in South Florida with our cat, Leo (who really runs the house).
